The largest promotion ever run by a fast-food company is back, with a $786 million prize pool this time.
Macca’s Fans can win Monopoly Prizes from September 6 to October 24.
Ampol will provide fuel for a full year and two ISUZU MUX vehicles. The prize package includes a Pacific Islands P & O Cruise, up to 10 nights, and $100,000 in EFTPOS gift cards.
Instant winners include McCafe Coffee, McCafe Fries, and Big Mac Burgers.
Last year, fuel was free for a full year. Also, over $250,000 in gift vouchers were claimed. A $10,000 voucher from The Iconic was also given away.
Jordan Drew from South Australia won a vehicle in the Monopoly game last year. He said: “I was shocked when I saw my winnings on my chance card.
“I bought lunch, and the next minute, I won. It was an amazing and welcome surprise.
I’m encouraging everyone to play this game. “It was my first Monopoly Game in Macca’s and there were winners everywhere.”
Emma, from Mundaring in Western Australia, also won a gift card worth $1,000 after she ordered a Quarter Pounder, a Happy Meal, and a cup of coffee.
Emma said, “I would be lost now without my Apple iPad to help me with my university study on the move or at home.
I’ve told my friends that they can win big at any time.
Tobi Fukushima is the marketing manager at McDonald’s Australia. He said that the company always gets excited about the Monopoly board game.
Tobi stated, “We are offering our customers a great Macca’s value, and so much else, including the chance to win cash, cars, gift cards for travel, fashion, and other items, as well as a free Macca’s meal for an entire year.”
